[SMM Lithium Battery Anode Raw Material Market Weekly Review: Tolling Demand Continues to Surge; Graphitisation Processing Fees Rise Steadily] June 18 News: This week, China’s graphitisation tolling prices edged up slightly. Demand side, first- and second-tier anode producers’ own integrated capacity is in short supply.

SMM June 18 news:

This week, China’s graphitisation tolling service price edged up. Demand side, Tier 1 and Tier 2 anode manufacturers were short of their own integrated capacity, which drove sustained growth in graphitisation tolling orders. Cost and supply side, toll graphitisation plants had long been in a low-margin zone; production halts and furnace reductions were widespread, so effective processing capacity was tight and processing enterprises were less willing to take orders at low prices. Under the combined effect of recovering demand, tight supply, and rigid cost support, market expectations for price hikes continued to intensify, pushing the graphitisation tolling price to edge up this week. Looking ahead, downstream demand continues to improve. To ensure stable supply, downstream buyers' mentality of pushing for lower prices is gradually weakening. It is expected that the graphitisation tolling processing fee will rise steadily.
