[SMM PV] May European PV Index: Module Prices and Procurement Confidence Both Rose

Published: Jun 12, 2026 13:04

According to data from European Sun.store, PV module prices in the European market surged in May, with the PV Purchasing Managers' Index (PV PMI) climbing to 70, a new high since the beginning of this year.

High-end, high-efficiency modules led the gains, while inverter market prices remained stable overall for the third consecutive month. As prices rise and demand sentiment recovers, the European PV market enters the summer season with strong growth momentum.

Since the start of 2026, PV module prices have maintained an upward trajectory, and this trend continued in May.
