Chinese Lead Smelter Enters Month-Long Maintenance, Affecting 5,000-6,000 mt of Production

[Primary Lead Smelter Updates] It was learned that a primary lead smelter in north-east China planned to enter routine maintenance this week as scheduled. The maintenance is planned to last one month, and is expected to affect lead ingot production by 5,000-6,000 mt.

On May 26, Shengda Metal Resources Co., Ltd. planned to acquire the 20% equity in Aruhorqin Banner Deyun Mining Co., Ltd. held by Zhao Shuquan, and simultaneously assume Zhao Shuquan's creditor's rights of 31,147,773.33 yuan against Deyun Mining. Upon completion of this transaction, the company's equity in Deyun Mining would increase from 54% to 74%. The core assets of Deyun Mining are the mining rights for the silver polymetallic mine in the Bayanbaolege mining area in Aruhorqin Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the exploration rights for the lead-zinc polymetallic ore in the Bayanbaolege area in Aruhorqin Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
