In April 2026, China's copper enamelled wire exports maintained strong momentum, with products exported to 133 countries and regions. Total exports for the month reached 13,716 mt, up 3.77% YoY. In terms of export market distribution, Vietnam, Japan, and South Korea remained the top three markets, accounting for approximately 32% of total exports combined. Among them, exports to Vietnam edged up 1.5% YoY, while Japan and South Korea saw varying degrees of pullback. Exports to Thailand fell 27.8% YoY, dropping to fifth place. Exports to Turkey maintained strong growth momentum, reaching 985 mt in April, surging 544.3% YoY and jumping to fourth place. In addition, exports to Mexico and the US market turned positive YoY, up 56.9% and 19.3%, respectively. Overall, the enamelled wire export market landscape continued to diverge in April, but overall export performance remained robust.
