Iron ore concentrates prices in China edged up slightly this week. By region, prices in Tangshan, Qian'an, and Qianxi in Hebei edged up by 1-5 yuan; prices in Chaoyang, Beipiao, and Jianping in western Liaoning were basically flat; prices in east China rose by 10-15 yuan/mt.
Looking ahead to next week, according to SMM tracking, steel mill maintenance increased, and blast furnace hot metal output may decline slightly, weakening demand support for iron ore concentrates. However, mines and beneficiation plants showed a strong willingness to hold prices firm, and market resources remained relatively tight. It is estimated that iron ore concentrates prices in China may fluctuate in the short term. [SMM Steel]
