To ensure energy security amid Middle East tensions, state-run Petrobangla has imported approximately 192,000 tonnes of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) via three vessels. The 'HL Puffin' has arrived with 62,000 tonnes from Australia, while the 'New Brave' is expected to deliver 61,500 tonnes from Indonesia, and the 'Celsius Galapagos' will bring 70,000 tonnes from the US by April 4. Chattogram Port is prioritizing these shipments to the Moheshkhali FSRU to mitigate the impact of the global energy crisis on domestic supply.
