First-Tier Cities See 2.2% YoY Drop in New Home Prices, Second-Hand Prices Fall 7.6% in February

[YoY Decline of 2.2% in the Selling Prices of Newly Built Commercial Residential Properties in First-Tier Cities in February]
In February, the selling prices of newly built commercial residential properties in first-tier cities fell 2.2% YoY, with the decline widening by 0.1 percentage point from the previous month. Among them, Shanghai rose 4.2%, while Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen fell 2.3%, 5.1%, and 5.5%, respectively. In second- and third-tier cities, the selling prices of newly built commercial residential properties fell 3.1% and 4.0% YoY, respectively, with the declines widening by 0.2 and 0.1 percentage point, respectively. In February, the selling prices of second-hand residential properties in first-tier cities fell 7.6% YoY, with the decline unchanged

China's Auto Production Dips 9.9% to 4.024M Units in Jan-Feb Period
[China’s Automobile Production Reached 4.024 Million Units, January-February] On March 16, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) released the latest data showing that, by sector, from January to February, the value added of 35 out of 41 major industrial categories increased YoY. Among them, automobile manufacturing was up 3.4% YoY. By product, from January to February, the production of 397 out of 626 products by industrial enterprises above designated size increased YoY. Among them, automobile production was 4.024 million units, down 9.9%, of which NEV production was 1.604 million units, down 13.7%.
