【SMM Aluminum Flash News】Forward Technology: Net profit of 19.4612 million yuan in 2025

Forward Technology disclosed its preliminary financial results for 2025, reporting revenue of RMB 112 million, a year-on-year decrease of 18.27%; and net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company of RMB 19.4612 million, a year-on-year decrease of 15.88%. During the reporting period, the company faced multiple adverse factors, including an unstable global economic situation, continued international tensions, the energy crisis and weak market demand and investment, which weakened the momentum of European economic growth. The company's revenue in 2025 decreased by 18.27% year-on-year, while net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company decreased by 15.88% year-on-year due to factors such as rising aluminum prices and declining production.

[SMM Aluminum Express News] Dak Nong Aluminum Company – TKV (DNA), based in Lam Dong province, exported its first alumina shipment of the Lunar New Year Binh Ngo 2026 (Year of the Horse) to Japan on February 23, 2026. The ~14,000-tonne cargo, packed in 1-ton flat-bottom bags, was loaded onto the MV HTK LUCKY at Go Dau port (loading started 2 pm on Feb 22) and delivered to customer Marubeni (Japan). To meet the schedule, DNA prepared early: 6,032 tons stored at Go Dau port and 26,100 tons packaged at the factory.

[SMM Aluminum Express News] Alcoa CEO Bill Oplinger confirmed at the BMO Global Metals, Mining and Critical Minerals Conference in Florida (Feb 24, 2026) that the company is targeting the sale of 10 closed or curtailed sites (mostly former aluminum smelters/refineries) to the data center industry, capitalizing on surging power demand for AI infrastructure. He stated: “We have 10 sites that we’re focused on selling into that space... We think we’ll have the first sale in the first half of this year. There are two that could follow quickly after that.” The first deal is expected to close by the end of June 2026. Specific sites and buyers remain undisclosed. This follows similar moves by rivals like Century Aluminum.
