[Release of New Zinc Smelting Capacity in H2 2026] According to SMM, a zinc smelter in Southwest China is expected to double its zinc smelting capacity in H2 2026, in conjunction with production release from its captive mine. By early 2027, zinc capacity is projected to reach 130,000 mt.
