[SMM Magnesium Express] Australia's Latrobe Magnesium and Bechtel plan a 100,000t/y magnesium mega-plant in Samalaju Industrial Park, Sarawak, Malaysia. Using ferro-nickel slag and hydro power for low-carbon production, the project secured over $2.2B U.S. EXIM Bank LOI to build strategic supply chain outside China.
