China's NEOLIX signs MoU with Incheon to partner in self-driving, smart logistics fields

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On July 24, Chinese autonomous driving tech company NEOLIX signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Beijing with Incheon Metropolitan City of South Korea, marking a key step forward in their collaboration on self-driving, smart logistics and smart city development, according to a press release issued by NEOLIX.  

Under the terms of the MoU, NEOLIX will partner with the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZA) to participate in a pilot autonomous driving program in Incheon. Following the completion of commercial trials, NEOLIX plans to expand its investment and business operations in South Korea, using Incheon as a strategic hub.

A central focus of the partnership will be the deployment of NEOLIX's automated logistics services across Incheon's major logistics facilities. The initiative aims to enhance the city's logistics infrastructure with smart automation, ultimately contributing to an integrated urban mobility ecosystem.

Mr. Yoo Jeong-Bok, Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City, expressed hopes that the collaboration would help position Incheon at the forefront of innovation in AI-driven transportation and logistics and the city would continue to attract top-tier smart city enterprises.

Mr. Enyuan Yu, founder and CEO of NEOLIX, described NEOLIX's partnership with Incheon as a pivotal step in its global expansion strategy and a new bridge for collaboration between China and South Korea in the fields of intelligent transportation and logistics. By delivering automated smart logistics services and fostering an innovation-driven ecosystem, NEOLIX plans to scale up investment in Incheon, aiming to enhance the city's logistics efficiency, accelerate the smart upgrade of its mobility and logistics infrastructure, as well as promote complementary strengths and sustainable growth, according to Mr. Yu.
