Institution: Global smartphone production is expected to decline by 1% in 2025
According to the latest report from Counterpoint Research, impacted by tariffs and the slowdown in the overall development of the industry, global smartphone manufacturing production is expected to decline by 1% YoY in 2025. Compared to the 4% YoY growth in production in 2024, it is evident that the market situation is not optimistic. In 2024, China, India, and Vietnam collectively accounted for over 90% of the global smartphone production, with India experiencing the fastest growth rate.
