Shanghai (Gasgoo)- During the AUTO SHANGHAI 2025, Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solution Business Unit and PATEO signed a letter of intent to collaborate on smart vehicle control modules, marking a significant step toward establishing a strategic partnership in this field.

Leveraging over three decades of expertise in computing and communications, Huawei has launched its own smart vehicle control solution. This solution integrates regional access, central computing, device abstraction, atomic services, cross-domain service orchestration, and hierarchical decoupling capabilities to build the Intelligent Digital Vehicle Platform (IDVP)—a digital foundation designed for Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs).

Drawing on its hands-on experience with SDV implementation, Huawei also introduced a comprehensive vehicle control module solution that includes a full-stack synergy suite, featuring an operating system and toolchain.

PATEO said it aims to collaborate with Huawei to co-develop a robust technical framework and knowledge system for the future of SDVs. The two companies plan to advance toward a service-oriented architecture (SOA), full Ethernet-based communication, and deeper cross-domain integration. In addition, PATEO envisions close cooperation with Huawei across R&D, operations, marketing, services, and supply chain management, as they seek to expand the smart vehicle industry, shape industry standards, enrich the SDV ecosystem, and foster win-win success.
