Yujiang Die Casting Launches Intelligent Transformation Project for Aluminum Alloy Parts Production

Published: Apr 30, 2025 23:43

Chongqing Yujiang Die Casting Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yujiang Die Casting") recently launched the intelligent transformation (Phase IV) project for its aluminum alloy parts production site, aiming to upgrade the existing production lines for automotive aluminum alloy die-cast parts with intelligent technologies. The project plans to purchase a total of 170 sets of key equipment, including die-casting machines, machining centers, CNC machine tools, high-pressure cleaning machines, and laser marking machines.

The Yujiang Die Casting aluminum alloy parts production site project covers an area of 150 mu, with a building area of 90,000 m². The new factory will introduce multiple ultra-large intelligent die-casting islands, and is expected to invest in ultra-large die-casting machines with capacities ranging from 6,000 mt to 9,000 mt, as well as 5G fully automatic machining lines. Through the newly established automotive lightweighting and integrated die-casting production site, Yujiang Die Casting will provide capacity guarantees for the mass production of projects such as integrated die-casting for NEV parts and ultra-large auto body structural components.

Middle East Crisis Sparks Global Economic Slowdown and Inflation, UN Report Shows
The *World Economic Situation and Prospects as of Mid-2026* report released by the United Nations clearly pointed out that the Middle East crisis has posed a new round of shocks to the global economy, directly leading to a slowdown in global economic growth, a renewed climb in inflationary pressures, and a further intensification of global economic uncertainty. Notably, the impact of this crisis has been highly uneven, with developing countries bearing the brunt of the shocks. As things stand, global economic growth is expected to reach 2.5% in 2026, though this figure has been revised down by 0.2 percentage points from the January forecast.
