Maintenance/Technical Adjustments:

  1. According to SMM, a smelter in East China plans to carry out zinc smelting maintenance in early May, followed by lead smelting maintenance in June. Each phase of maintenance is expected to last approximately 20–25 days, potentially reducing output for both metals over a 25-day period.

  2. According to SMM, a zinc smelter in Central China plans to begin maintenance in early May, which is expected to last around 25 days.

  3. According to SMM, a zinc smelter in Northwest China is planning routine maintenance from July to August, lasting approximately two months.

  4. According to SMM, a zinc smelter in Northwest China plans to conduct a minor technical upgrade in May, with an expected impact on production.

  5. According to SMM, a zinc smelter in Southwest China completed maintenance in mid-April and is expected to return to full production capacity in May. Output is likely to recover accordingly.

  6. According to SMM, a zinc smelter in Central China has postponed its maintenance originally scheduled in May due to persistently high sulfuric acid prices. The maintenance is now expected to be delayed until the fourth quarter.

  7. According to SMM, a zinc smelter in Southwest China has postponed its planned April maintenance due to persistently high sulfuric acid prices. The maintenance is now rescheduled for the end of 2025 and is expected to last approximately 25 days. SMM will continue to monitor the timing and production impact of the revised plan.

Expected Production Increase:
