Boliden Reports Q4 2024 Zinc Concentrate Production Down 16% QoQ, with Tara Mine and Boliden Area Updates

【SMM News】Boliden released its Q4 2024 report, showing its Q4 zinc concentrate production at 41,700 mt, with total 2024 production reaching 164,100 mt, down 16% QoQ. By mine, Tara Mine's Q4 zinc concentrate production was 6,300 mt. In Q1 2025, the Tara beneficiation plant will gradually ramp up to an annual ore processing capacity of 1.8 million mt, with the average zinc grade of the fed ore around 5.5%. The Boliden Area's Q4 zinc concentrate production was 24,300 mt, with total 2024 production at 109,100 mt. Garpenberg's Q4 zinc concentrate production was 11,100 mt, with total 2024 production at 48,700 mt.
