[An Annual Production Line of 5GWh Lithium Battery Energy Storage Systems Is About to Be Completed]
A new energy company is expediting the final construction phase of its annual production line project for 5GWh lithium battery energy storage systems. The project is located in Panji District, Huainan City, Anhui Province, with a planned total investment of 1.36 billion yuan and a planned land area of approximately 128 mu. Upon completion and reaching full production, it is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 5GWh lithium battery energy storage packs, 100,000 energy storage PCS units, 20,000 energy storage cabinets, and (air-cooled) containers. Once completed and operational, the project is expected to generate an operating income of 3.5 billion yuan and create approximately 330 new jobs.

SK On Consolidates Georgia Operations into Single Production System

SK On Terminates Natural Graphite Supply Agreement with Westwater

According to Westwater Resources on the 3rd, it received a contract termination notice from SK On on March 31 (local time). Under the agreement, SK On had planned to source up to 34,000 tons of natural graphite produced at Westwater’s Kellyton facility in Alabama between 2027 and 2031, but the plan has been canceled following the termination.
