According to SMM data, the price difference between copper cathode rod and secondary copper rod recorded 1,325 yuan/mt today. With the rise in copper prices, the price difference between copper cathode rod and secondary copper rod expanded again, reviving the economic advantage of secondary copper rod. Currently, some copper cathode rod enterprises have reported that downstream customers are increasingly opting for secondary copper rod, and the consumption pressure on copper cathode rod remains unresolved.
