Today, the SMM 1# lead average price dropped by 25 yuan/mt compared to yesterday, reaching 16,600 yuan/mt. Supply and demand in the spot market were both sluggish; suppliers have entered holiday mode, with very few quotes for secondary refined lead. The ex-factory prices of tax-free refined lead in the market remained largely at 15,600-15,750 yuan/mt. Downstream battery producers have mostly ceased procurement, and transactions for secondary lead were sluggish.
