This week, the prices of DC-side battery cabins remained generally stable. Specifically, the average price of 5MWh battery cabins was 0.435 yuan/Wh, while the average prices of 3.42MWh and 3.77MWh battery cabins were both 0.44 yuan/Wh, down 0.6% WoW. In the first week after the holiday, market trading sentiment was relatively low, with no significant market fluctuations. The price of 314Ah ESS battery cells remained at a low and stable level, and the price of 5MWh DC-side battery cabins also remained relatively unchanged. Recently, 280Ah battery cells faced inventory clearance and production line conversion, leading to a decline in the price center, which caused a slight WoW decrease in the prices of integrated 3.42MWh and 3.77MWh DC-side battery cabins.
On January 8, the candidate announcement for the ESS equipment procurement project of the 100MW fishery-PV complementary power station project in the Dongwucha A Zone of the Guotou Yunding Meizhou Bay (Putian) New Energy Co., Ltd. was released. The procurement content included a 10MW/20MWh integrated ESS (LFP battery). Xiamen Kehua Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd. ranked as the first candidate with a bid price of 10.4 million yuan, equivalent to a unit price of 0.52 yuan/Wh. Zhejiang Narada Power Source Co., Ltd. ranked second with a bid price of 0.51 yuan/Wh, and CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute Co., Ltd. ranked third with a bid price of 0.53 yuan/Wh. Since December, the winning bid prices of some relatively small-scale 2-hour LFP ESS projects have mostly remained in the range of 0.50-0.52 yuan/Wh, showing relative stability. Looking ahead, SMM expects the prices of DC-side ESS to remain at the current low levels and temporarily stable.
