Polaris learned that on January 5, AIKO and Skyworth PV successfully held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony, reaching a strategic partnership on N-type ABC module procurement, market expansion, and other areas, marking a further deepening of their commercial collaboration.

According to the agreement, to fully leverage the advantages of both parties and effectively promote comprehensive cooperation in domestic and international markets, the two sides will establish agreements on N-type ABC module procurement and other collaborations in distributed scenarios such as residential and commercial-industrial sectors, as well as in overseas markets, jointly advancing industrial complementarity and achieving mutual benefits.

At the signing ceremony, Xia Hengliang, Senior Vice President of AIKO, stated: "BC technology is closest to the theoretical conversion efficiency limit of single-crystal silicon batteries and represents the ultimate technology in the N-type era. Skyworth PV, as a professional platform for PV asset development, construction, and operation, has accumulated extensive service experience and market resources in the PV market, especially in distributed scenarios. This strong partnership between the two parties will further expand the application boundaries of BC technology, allowing more market users to experience the high returns and reliability brought by AIKO's high-efficiency N-type ABC modules."

Ma Long, Director and President of Skyworth PV, stated: "Skyworth has set industry benchmarks in business models, product quality, and customer service. AIKO's N-type ABC modules, with their high power, greater returns, and superior safety, are increasingly recognized and favored by the market. We believe that this deepened cooperation will help both parties jointly expand market opportunities and contribute to the clean transformation of the energy structure."

Fujiyama Power Systems has approved plans to build a 1.2GW TOPCon solar cell facility at its Ratlam plant in Madhya Pradesh, with commercial production expected in the first quarter of FY2028. The INR 350 crore project will complement the company’s existing 1GW Mono PERC cell plant in Uttar Pradesh and support its backward integration and technology upgrade strategy. SMM believes the rollout of India’s ALMM-II rules from June 2026 is accelerating domestic cell capacity expansion, helping manufacturers secure DCR-compliant supply, reduce cost volatility and strengthen their rooftop solar positioning.
