Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese intelligent driving and smart cockpit solutions provider MINIEYE received a contract to supply intelligent driving solutions for a new vehicle platform developed by a major global automaker, according to the company's WeChat post on Monday.
This platform, designed specifically for the Chinese market, will be deployed by multiple joint-venture brands. MINIEYE had previously secured a contract for the platform's Driver Monitoring System (DMS) products, showcasing its integrated expertise in intelligent driving and cockpit technologies.
The automaker has a strong foothold in China. Its official data showed that its two joint-venture brands leading the market in retail sales for 2023, ranking first and second among joint ventures. From January to November 2024, the brands continued their dominance, with one achieving sales exceeding one million units.
Founded in 2014, MINIEYE focuses on progressive development in intelligent driving solutions, ranging from L0 to L2+ systems, while actively advancing L4 autonomous driving technologies. Its strategic focus spans intelligent driving, smart cockpits, and V2X integration to support the automotive industry's digital transformation.
By December 10, 2024, MINIEYE had collaborated with 35 automakers for mass production. This milestone highlights its strong R&D capabilities and market recognition, solidifying its role as a key player in intelligent vehicle innovation.
