【ESS Integration of 20MW/14MWh! China Energy Engineering Corporation's Indonesia PV Energy Storage Project Connected to the Grid and Generating Power】
On December 22 local time, the Indonesia IKN 50-megawatt ground-mounted PV and 14-megawatt hour energy storage project, jointly undertaken by Shanxi Institute and Zhejiang Thermal Power under China Energy Engineering Corporation, achieved full-capacity grid connection and power generation.
The Indonesia IKN project is the first mountain PV + energy storage project in Indonesia. The project fully utilizes solar energy resources and is equipped with an efficient energy storage system to ensure stable power supply. The total installed capacity on the DC side is approximately 70 megawatts, with a synchronized 20-megawatt/14-megawatt hour energy storage system, a 150-kilovolt step-up substation, and a 20-kilovolt switch station. The total construction area is about 70 hectares.
