Today, coking coal futures fluctuated widely, with relatively sluggish market transactions. Fundamentally, the supply and demand of coking coal remain relatively loose, with mainstream coal mines operating normally and coking coal supply stable. On the demand side, downstream coke enterprises mainly purchase as needed, while speculative demand from traders remains weak. Looking ahead, as the off-season for downstream steel consumption deepens, the expectation of coke price declines gradually strengthens. Coupled with the loose supply of coking coal itself, coking coal prices are expected to remain relatively stable with a weak trend in the short term.
