[120,000 mt Lithium-Ion Power Battery Comprehensive Utilisation Project Publicised in Jiangxi]

Recently, the People's Government of Xingan County officially publicised the environmental impact assessment information for the annual comprehensive utilisation of 120,000 mt of lithium-ion power battery scrap by Jiangxi Woquan Energy Technology Co., Ltd., marking the project's entry into the public supervision and evaluation stage. The project is located in the Salt Chemical Industrial City of Xingan County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, and is expected to process 120,000 mt of lithium-ion power battery scrap annually. Through advanced production processes, the project will convert the scrap batteries into intermediate products such as cathode and anode powders, and further employ hydrometallurgical recovery techniques to efficiently extract elements like refined cobalt, nickel, manganese, and lithium, ultimately producing new energy materials.
