As of December 5, the SMM imported bauxite CIF index was reported at $93.30/mt, and the price of Guinean bauxite was reported at $95/mt, an increase of $4/mt compared to last Thursday. In the short term, the tight supply fundamentals of bauxite may not see significant improvement, and bauxite prices are expected to fluctuate upward.
