[Bensteel Group Passes Certification for the Widest Domestic Cold-Rolled Auto Body Panels to Replace Laser Welded Panels] Recently, Bensteel Group's 2,135mm wide cold-rolled steel sheets successfully passed certification by a well-known domestic heavy-duty automaker for use in manufacturing heavy truck cab roof panels. The test materials, which underwent stamping, welding, and painting processes, all met quality requirements.

Bensteel Group's widest 2,150mm acid-rolled and continuous annealing units have the capability to produce ultra-wide cold-rolled sheets through the entire process, filling the domestic gap for cold-rolled products wider than 2,050mm. The development of the 2,135mm wide cold-rolled product can replace some laser welded products, providing strong support for downstream users by enriching material supply, reducing auto body weld points, improving product quality and production efficiency, and lowering production costs. During the 2024 China Brand Day series of events, Bensteel Group's ultra-wide cold-rolled auto body panels wider than 2,050mm were awarded the title of "2024 China's Most Competitive Product in the Metallurgical Industry.
