**[Commencement of Construction of the 200MW/400MWh Energy Storage Power Station Project in Suqian, Jiangsu Province]** SMM has learned that on the morning of November 8, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 200MW/400MWh energy storage power station project of Suqian Xinchu Technology Co., Ltd. was held in the Su-Su Industrial Park in Suqian City, Jiangsu Province. Relevant leaders from State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Co., Ltd. Suqian Power Supply Branch, Xiexin Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Suda Tiangong Venture Capital Management Co., Ltd., as well as comrades-in-charge from various bureaus, offices, and stationed agencies in the park, attended the event.
The project, with a total investment of RMB 1 billion and occupying an area of 40 acres, has the capability to independently participate in grid frequency regulation and peak shaving. It aligns with the national "multi-energy complementarity" development policy and can assist the park in establishing a "multi-energy complementarity" power supply structure. It will play a significant role in the energy storage layout of the entire city and even the province.
