On October 16, Liangshan Lizhou Hydropower Station's "hydro-photovoltaic hybrid" project, a key component of Sichuan Province's "14th Five-Year" renewable energy development plan, achieved full grid connection and power generation for the Rangbai Photovoltaic Project.
Located in the Rangbai Pasture of Muli County, Liangshan Prefecture, at an average altitude of 4,200 meters, the Lizhou Hydropower Station's "hydro-photovoltaic hybrid" Rangbai Photovoltaic Project is the highest-altitude "hydro-photovoltaic hybrid" project in Muli County. It was constructed by Huadian (Muli) New Energy Co., Ltd. and undertaken by China Construction Second Engineering Division Corp., Ltd. The project covers a total area of 199 hectares, with three photovoltaic arrays, including 32 photovoltaic arrays, and a total installed capacity of 100 megawatts on the AC side.
