Rebar Planned Production Increased Significantly MoM In September Due To Improved Profits, While HRC Planned Production Fell Amid Poor Profitability And High Inventory

The planned rebar production for September is 8.3952 million mt, an increase of 741,200 mt from the actual production in August, a growth of 9.68%;

The planned wire rod production for September is 3.343 million mt, a decrease of 2,200 mt from the actual production in August, a decline of 0.07%.

According to the latest tracking by SMM, the total planned HRC production of 39 mainstream steel mills in September is 14.3486 million mt, down 622,900 mt from the actual HRC production in August, a decrease of 4.2%.
