[SMM Flash News] At the construction site of the No.6 galvanizing line project of Maanshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (Ma Steel), precise alignment was implemented, and the steel beams and columns of the main plant, weighing as much as 9 tons, were accurately placed in the pre-poured column foundation cups. The successful completion of the first lifting marked the entry of the project into the steel structure construction stage of the main plant.
The No.6 galvanizing line project of Ma Steel is undertaken by Shanghai Baoye Metallurgical Engineering Co., Ltd. and started on May 31 this year. The production line is designed to produce high-strength automotive steel plates, and upon completion, it will significantly enhance Ma Steel's production capacity of galvanized automotive steel plates and broaden the market application potential of coated wide plates. This project plays a pivotal role in accelerating Ma Steel's strategic progress towards the four key products of "cold-rolled, high-strength, coated and plated, and new energy" in the field of strip and sheet materials, and contributes to building its differentiated competitive advantage. It is also a significant engineering project for Ma Steel.
