SMM News on August 30th: #Semiannual Report of Leading Photovoltaic Company 2024 Released#

In the first half of 2024, Trina Solar's operating revenue reached 42.968 billion yuan, down 12.99% year-on-year, with a net profit attributable to shareholders of 526 million yuan, down 85.14% year-on-year.

During the first half of 2024, Trina Solar's module shipments amounted to 34GW, exceeding a year-on-year growth of 25%. By the end of June 2024, the company's cumulative module shipments surpassed 225GW. It is expected that by the end of 2024, the company's production capacity for photovoltaic wafers, cells, and modules will reach 55GW, 105GW, and 120GW, respectively.

Wafer: Market prices for 18X wafers were 0.88-0.9 yuan/piece, 210RN wafers were priced at 0.98-1.00 yuan/piece, and 210N wafers were priced at 1.18-1.2 yuan/piece. Top-tier players continued to hold prices, and improving quality to justify price increases had become the most pressing task in the wafer segment.
