China Sets New Monthly Record for Bauxite Imports in July 2024 Amid Seasonal Challenges

SMM August 20 News: According to the General Administration of Customs of China, China imported 15.0007 million tons of bauxite in July 2024, an increase of 12.49% month-on-month and 16.50% year-on-year, setting another record high for monthly imports. From January to July 2024, China imported a total of 92.3514 million tons of bauxite, up 8.7% year-on-year.
