The Huatong Aluminum Industrial Park in Angola is a project invested and constructed by Huatong Angola Industrial Co., Ltd. The groundbreaking ceremony for the first phase of the project was held in Benguela Province, Angola on the 22nd. Government officials in Angola stated that upon completion, the project will play a positive role in promoting the diversification of the national economy and industrial development.
It is understood that the Huatong Aluminum Industrial Park in Angola is planned to be completed in five phases over the next eight to ten years, forming a complete industry chain from alumina preparation, electrolytic production of aluminum ingots to aluminum product processing. The investment scale of the first phase of the project is US$250 million, and the annual production capacity will reach 120,000 tons of electrolytic aluminum. It is expected that the project will be completed and put into operation in the second half of 2025.
