Port shipments outside China were 2.043 million mt last week, down 4% from a week ago. Shipments by Chinese ports for exports were 1.8916 million mt, a decrease of 26% on a weekly basis.

In terms of varieties,

Global port shipments of steel plates were 116,100 mt last week, a drop of 59% week-on-week. Global port shipments of steel coil were 316,100 mt last week, a drop of 22% week-on-week. Global port shipments of pig iron were 829,900 mt last week, down 4% week-on-week. Global port shipments of steel billets were 447,300 mt last week, down 10% week-on-week.

Arrivals at China's 119 ports under foreign trade were 353,100 mt, an increase of 46,200 mt or 15% from a week earlier.
