NIO sees monthly deliveries in Mar. 2024 jump 14.3% YoY

NIO Inc. (NIO or the Company), a major player in China's smart electric vehicle market, today unveiled its delivery results for March and the first quarter of 2024.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- NIO Inc. ("NIO" or the "Company"), a major player in China's smart electric vehicle market, today unveiled its delivery results for March and the first quarter of 2024. 

In March 2024, NIO achieved a delivery volume of 11,866 vehicles, representing a 14.3% increase compared to the same period last year. This figure comprised 6,737 premium smart electric SUVs and 5,129 premium smart electric sedans.

Meanwhile, NIO announced it delivered 30,053 vehicles in the first quarter of 2024.

As of March 31, 2024, the cumulative deliveries of NIO vehicles amounted to 479,647 units.

In March 2024, NIO commenced the delivery of its 2024 product lineup, including the ES8, ES6, EC7, EC6, and ET5T models. These annual iterations boast improved configurations and performance, with particular emphasis on the upgraded Center Computing Cluster, contributing to enhanced computing power and product competitiveness, said NIO. Looking ahead, the Company plans to initiate deliveries of the 2024 ES7, ET7, and ET5 models in the second quarter of 2024.

NIO today announced the launch of a subsidy program, totaling up to 1 billion yuan, aimed at incentivizing the replacement of traditional oil vehicles with NIO's electric vehicles. The move is in response to China's State Council's "Action Plan for Promoting Large-scale Equipment Upgrades and Old-for-New Substitution of Consumer Goods," said the automaker.
