As the annual inspection of the blast furnace-based steel mills in central China ended, the production gradually resumed

From January 16th to January 22nd, the output and operating rate of rebar rolling line in central China increased, which may continue in the next period.

During the period, the operating rate of rebar rolling line in central China increased. Specifically, there was little change in Hunan and Hubei. The main changes occurred in Henan, as a steel mill in Henan completed the rebar rolling line maintenance and resumed production as planned, driving the overall operating rate and output. In terms of warehouses, steel mills in Hubei adjusted their output, dragging down the inventories.

It is expected that the weekly production of rebar in central China may continue to increase next week, mainly as the production days of steel mills in Henan will increase.

The operating rate and output of wire rods in central China declined slightly WoW. Some steel mills in Henan and Hubei have completely stopped production of wire rods rolling lines, but there are steel mills in Hunan that have resumed wire rods production. Therefore, the overall wire rods output only declined slightly. In terms of warehouses, overall output continued to decline, and inventory fell slightly. It is expected that wire rods output in central China may increase next week, mainly due to the production resumption of steel mills in Henan at the end of this period. The impact on output will mainly be reflected in the next period.
