According to a release from the National Energy Administration, China has accelerated the pace of its energy transformation towards eco-friendly and low-carbon sources in 2023. Notably, the total installed capacity of wind and solar power has exceeded 1 billion kw, further solidifying its dominant position in the new power installations nationwide. By the end of November, the first batch of wind power and PV projects that are connected to power grid totalled 45.16 million kW, while over 50 million kW in second and third batches have been approved and are under construction.
