Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On December 26, GAC Energy, a subsidiary of GAC Group, signed an agreement with Dengtu Holding Group Limited ("DnTU"), who operates car rental services as one of its main businesses, in Beijing city, to form a strategic cooperation on energy replenishment network development, according to a post on GAC Energy's WeChat account.
Built upon a shared commitment to advancing the electric vehicle (EV) sector, the agreement outlines collaborative efforts in areas such as electric vehicle energy supplementation, cooperative construction of energy replenishment networks, and mutual connectivity of business platforms. DnTU, guided by its mission to "create value through technology and data, promoting the development of a green ecosystem," aims to deploy nearly 20,000 vehicles in over 20 cities nationwide by 2024.
In this partnership, both entities will focus on serving 20,000 vehicle owners who offer car-hailing services, providing them with more convenient and secure energy supplementation services. Leveraging their combined resources, the collaboration will extend further as they jointly establish supercharging and battery-swapping stations on a national scale.
CEO of DnTU, Hu Yechao, expressed that the collaboration is guided by principles such as leveraging strengths, fostering integrity and fairness, establishing long-term cooperation, and achieving mutual benefits. The partners aim to establish a lasting cooperation mechanism, jointly exploring more possibilities in intelligent and eco-friendly travel.
