SMM Daily Report: Lithium Carbonate Prices Continue to Fall on December 11th
On December 11th, SMM reported that the battery-grade lithium carbonate index was 114,815 yuan/ton, a decrease of 3,204 yuan/ton compared to the previous working day; the range for battery-grade lithium carbonate was 109,000-121,000 yuan/ton, with an average price of 115,000 yuan/ton, a decrease of 0.35 yuan/ton compared to the previous working day; industrial-grade lithium carbonate was 98,000-105,000 yuan/ton, with an average price of 101,500 yuan/ton, a decrease of 0.38 yuan/ton compared to the previous working day.
In recent days, lithium carbonate futures prices have rebounded and approached spot prices. This has led to increased caution among traders and salt factories, as well as some price support sentiment. However, most companies maintain a rational attitude towards prices. With soft demand for downstream deliveries and no significant increase in procurement, spot prices continue to remain stable while trending downward.
