On October 28th, the bamboo-based composite material floating photovoltaic platform "Jilin No.1" jointly developed and constructed by Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore Technology Group (hereinafter referred to as CIMC Raffles) and China Forestry Group Co., Ltd.'s wholly-owned subsidiary China Forestry Green Carbon (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Forestry Green Carbon) successfully completed the launching, towing and offshore installation operations, and was tested in the sea area of CIMC Raffles Offshore Photovoltaic Verification Test Base in Yantai High-tech Zone, marking a key step in the exploration of green and affordable process of CIMC offshore photovoltaic.
The "Jilin No.1" photovoltaic platform jointly developed by the two teams has complete independent intellectual property rights. This platform is the first in the world to use the jointly developed new bamboo-based marine engineering materials as the main material, opening up the experimental application of new materials in the field of floating photovoltaic platforms.
