Kyocera Group has been selling renewable energy to Japanese companies since October 1. The company announced that it will purchase surplus photovoltaic power from residential, industrial and commercial rooftop photovoltaic systems and floating solar arrays, and intends to resell it to small and medium-sized enterprises and large apartment buildings across Japan. The company also stated that its goal is to provide solutions to companies that want to install rooftop photovoltaic systems but face challenges of upfront costs and technical complexity. In addition to continuing to produce solar components at its factory in Shiga Prefecture, the Japanese manufacturer is also actively engaged in the sale of photovoltaic systems.
