Spot Zinc Market In Ningbo Remained Lukewarm

SHANGHAI, Sep 5 (SMM) - In Ningbo market, #0 zinc was traded at 21385-21605 yuan/mt. The spot prices of regular brand were still quoted with premiums of 190-200 yuan/mt over the 2310 contract, and with discounts of 90 yuan/mt over the prices in the Shanghai market.

Mainstream quotes in Ningbo market were generally against the 2310 contract. In the first trading session, Tiefeng zinc was quoted with premiums of 190-200 yuan/mt over the SHFE 2310 zinc contract. In the second trading session, the spot premium was basically the same as in the first trading session. Overall, spot trading continued to be quiet, as downstream companies lacked interest in purchasing.
