SHANGHAI, Aug 23 (SMM) - Today, the SMM price of secondary refined lead is 100 yuan/mt higher than yesterday. Discounts of sellers changed little. Several smelters expanded the discount.

The average discount of refined lead against SMM 1# lead in Zhejiang is about 100 yuan/mt, ex-factory. And the transaction was quiet; the ex-factory price of refined lead including tax is 15,850-16,000 yuan/mt in Anhui, and the transaction was poor; the ex-factory price of refined lead in Sichuan was 15,900 yuan yuan/mt, with poor transaction.

The price of lead has risen for several days in a row, and the enthusiasm of downstream lead-acid battery companies to make inquiries has declined, mainly taking deliveries under long-term contracts.
