Water Transport Bureau: The listing of shipping index futures fills the gap in China’s shipping derivatives market

Yang Huaxiong, deputy director of the Water Transport Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, said in a speech at the shipping index futures listing event on August 18 that shipping index futures are integrated products of shipping and finance, which allows the shipping industry enterprises to strengthen risk management and control, optimize the allocation of shipping resources, and enhance the safety and stability of shipping logistics industry chain.
