National Development and Reform Commission: Optimize new energy vehicle purchase tax reduction policies to expand consumption

The General Office of the State Council forwarded the notice of the National Development and Reform Commission on measures to restore and expand consumption. It was mentioned that in order to expand the consumption of new energy vehicles, the government will implement the construction of a high-quality charging infrastructure system, support new energy vehicles in the countryside, and continue and optimize the purchase tax reduction and exemption of new energy vehicles. Scientific layout to moderately advance the construction of the charging infrastructure system and accelerate the promotion and application of power change mode will effectively meet the needs of residents. In addition, the government will promote the optimal layout of public charging infrastructure in residential areas and implement residential electricity prices as well as study the implementation of peak and valley time-of-use electricity pricing policies for charging infrastructure electricity to promote the reduction of electricity costs for new energy vehicles.
