According to the latest data released by the General Administration of Customs on April 20, China imported 147,882 mt of aluminum scrap (shredded aluminium scrap) in March 2023, an increase of 5.22% month-on-month and 36.24% year-on-year.
Malaysia was the top supplier, with imports from this country at 22,306 mt, a drop of 19.37% month-on-month, and a decrease of 38.24% year-on-year.
