SHANGHAI, Apr 20 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 9.93 million mt as of April 20, down 251,700 mt or 2.5% from a week ago and also down 17.3% from the same period last year.
The inventory across social warehouses was 7.02 million mt, down 256,000 mt or 3.52% on the week and a drop of 18.1% on the year.
The in-plant inventory stood at 2.91 million mt, up 44,000 mt or 0.2% on the week but down 15.3% on the year.
