Global Iron Ore Shipments Dipped 15.5% Week-on-Week to 25.57 Million mt during April 8-14

SHANGHAI, Apr 17 (SMM) - SMM statistics showed that the global iron ore shipments totalled 25.57 million mt in the week ending April 14, a decrease of 15.5% week-on-week.

The four major mining companies shipped a combined 17.58 million mt of iron ore last week, a decrease of 3.4 million mt from a week earlier.

Iron ore arrivals at Chinese ports rose 23.38% on a weekly basis to 24.13 million mt last week.
