SHANGHAI, Apr 13 (SMM) - The demand for secondary aluminium alloy has not improved since April, so most producers are uncertain or pessimistic about new orders in the month. Die-casting plants even were closed for 2-5 days during the Qingming Festival this year due to slack orders, thus the market transactions thinned. Despite the fierce price war in the secondary aluminium alloy market, both manufacturers and traders still found it hard to promote sales. Short-term consumption is less likely to grow greatly, weakening the momentum of ADC12 prices. The downstream orders will be released in the second half of 2023. Cost pressure remains high despite the previous falls. It is expected that the ADC12 prices will continue to fall slightly in April.
